Adshel has launched its new trade media campaign calling all advertisers to ‘show us your summer briefs’ as Christmas shopping and summer spending have already started.

The campaign highlights the imperative for brands to lock-in campaigns early to capture the attention of consumers while in the planning, research and buying stages.

$75 billion was spent spent by consumers in 2016 heading into summer. Most importantly, 30% of which starts in September and three in ten completing their shopping by November.

Adshel’s Head of Marketing, Charlotte Valente, said “Getting out early is key to, not only securing prime placements, but making an impact during the planning and research phase which will result in a brand being more likely to end up in the basket or under the Christmas tree.”
