North Face says walls can unite

North Face is the latest brand to use Outdoor advertising to spread positive messages in its latest campaign for climbing.

The new global campaign via Sid Lee and United Entertainment Group is taglined “walls are meant for climbing,” and appropriately includes outdoor murals on buildings in New York City and London.

North Face donated $US1 million to the Trust for Public Land to help build public climbing walls in the United States and created a free global day of climbing, as part of the campaign, which took place on August 19.

The campaign encourages people to take up climbing while also making the underlying point that climbing is about trust and unity rather than division.
