OMA Concept Advisory Service
The OMA’s Concept Advisory Service offers advertisers and creative agencies who are developing material for OOH, advice about the suitability of their content – given that the OOH audience is broad and may include children.
The service gauges whether content will breach the AANA’s codes of practice and in particular, whether the proposed advertisement:
- treats sex, sexuality and nudity with sensitivity
- contains violence that cannot be justified in its context
- uses language suitable for a broad audience
The service is provided as an aid to OMA Members. The OMA Code of Ethics states that OMA members cannot endorse the display of an advertisement that is likely to breach the AANA Code of Ethics. Advertisers and creative agencies are advised to consult the service in the early stages of their campaign development to reduce the likelihood that members won’t endorse the advertisement.
The service is free. To submit an inquiry, contact the OMA.
