Technological advancements in production have contributed to the growth of OOH through longer-lasting vinyls, digital large-format printing and impressive 3D builds.

The advancements in the industry have directly benefited advertisers. Photographic reproduction quality on a larger-than-life scale can now be produced without major production costs. The OOH medium allows advertisers to exploit its fullest potential through the use of unique and exciting creative executions and concepts.

With many OOH ads being produced on ‘skins’ the OMA introduced a Tracking Key Number System. This allows for a code to be printed on each skin so that they can be easily identified and provide a ready information about the client, the creative, site type and sequence.

The Tracking Key Number System allows for easy storage and retrieval of material as required.
